Are you an experienced IFA Administrator or Wealth Planning Assistant looking to take the next step into Paraplanning? We’re working with a well-established, independent financial planning firm looking to appoint a Junior Paraplanner to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical knowledge, work alongside experienced Paraplanners and Financial Advisers, and progress your career within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing suitability reports and recommendation letters.
- Conduct research on pensions, investments, protection and financial planning solutions.
- Produce illustrations, valuations and comparison reports.
- Support Financial Advisers and Senior Paraplanners with technical case preparation.
- Liaise with providers, clients and third parties to progress cases.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure all documentation is FCA compliant.
- Assist with annual reviews, fund research and cashflow modelling.
- Keep up to date with financial planning legislation and regulatory changes.
About You
- Experience within an IFA or financial planning environment.
- Previous experience as an IFA Administrator, Client Support Administrator or Wealth Planning Assistant.
- Studying towards, or completed, the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
- Strong interest in developing a career in Paraplanning.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using Intelligent Office, Xplan or other financial planning systems is advantageous.
