We are supporting a well-established financial planning firm seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. This is a key technical role supporting advisers with high-quality research, analysis and report writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical research across pensions, investments and protection
- Cashflow modelling and scenario analysis
- Preparing suitability reports, recommendations and supporting documentation
- Liaising with providers and internal teams to gather information
- Ensuring all advice meets compliance and regulatory standards
- Supporting advisers with preparation for client meetings
- Contributing to process improvements within a small, collaborative team
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in a paraplanning role is essential
- Ideally Diploma qualified (Level 4)
- Part-qualified candidates considered with minimum two exams passed (three preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
- High attention to detail and confident working independently
Salary & Package
- Up to £37,000–£40,000 for more technical or experienced hires
- Exam support including:
- Study materials and first exam paid
- Two days’ study leave per exam (first sitting)
- £500 salary increase per exam passed
- 4x death in service (after six months)
- Westfield Health (after one year)
- 5% employer pension contribution
- Holiday progression: additional days after three years, up to +5 days after eight years
