The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven individual to join a highly reputable practice as an Associate Wealth Manager. This role offers a structured and supportive pathway to becoming a fully qualified Wealth Manager, with clear progression, hands‑on client exposure, and industry-leading training.
This is an ideal position for candidates with initial advisory exams (minimum 2 ROs) and some experience within an IFA or SJP environment who are looking to accelerate their career in wealth management.
The Role
As an Associate Wealth Manager, you will:
- Be assigned to one or two experienced Wealth Managers
- Support client relationships while gradually building your own exposure
- Shadow client meetings and actively participate as your confidence grows
- Gain full 360° experience of the wealth management process
- Develop technical knowledge and advisory skills through on‑the‑job training
The role is heavily developmental, with an expected 18–24 month journey to Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
Training & Progression
- Structured on‑the‑job learning (approx. 18 months)
- Opportunity to join their academy / Wealth Manager training programme (classroom‑based and roleplay training) once exams are completed
- Upon achieving CAS, progression into a self‑employed Wealth Manager role
Salary & Benefits
- £29,000 – £33,000 basic salary

Requirements
- Minimum 2 RO exams passed (essential)
- Experience within SJP or an IFA practice (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and client‑facing confidence
- Motivated, career‑driven, and eager to progress into an advisory role
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, professional environment
Working Pattern
- Hybrid working
- 4 days in the office during probation (6 months)
- 3 days in the office thereafter
Interview Process
- 3–5 minute self‑recorded video submission (initial stage)
- Short screening call (if required)
- Two‑stage interview process (may include presentation)
