We have an exceptional opportunity to join our Lanesborough Grill Team at The Lanesborough. Awarded No. 1 Hotel in London in the Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, on the doorstep of Hyde Park, just a short walk from Harrods, Harvey Nichols and London’s most exclusive shopping district; Sloane Street and Knightsbridge, this grand luxury mansion has undergone an inspired renovation by the famed interior designer Alberto Pinto. The hotel is home to 93 luxurious suites and bedrooms, modern British dining at The Lanesborough Grill, the vibrant Library Bar and Garden Room and the magnificent Lanesborough Club & Spa.

Candidate Profile

As Junior Assistant Restaurant Manager you will have a real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with guests. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in effectively managing the restaurant to ensure we provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times. Encourage the team to bring up new ideas and assist other departments within Food & Beverage. To develop the skills and effectiveness of all restaurant team members through the appropriate training, coaching and mentoring.

Key Requirements

  • Supervisory or managerial experience within a fine dining restaurant in a luxury establishment essential and experience within a Michelin star restaurant is preferable
  • London experience is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
  • Immaculate grooming standards
  • Proven track record of managing and developing a team
  • Confident with various procedures such as performance reviews, recruitment and training
