We’re looking for a proactive and organisedHR Adviserto join a small, busy HR team within a Financial Services organisation during an exciting period of change.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you’ll provide first-line HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle, while helping to deliver key people processes and improve the employee experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR advice and support to managers and employees.
- Manage day-to-day HR administration, including contracts, employee records, starters, leavers and payroll changes.
- Coordinate onboarding, pre-employment checks and compliance.
- Support performance reviews and employee engagement initiatives.
- Produce accurate HR MI and reporting, including headcount, absence, attrition and recruitment data.
- Support absence management and escape complex matters where appropriate.
- Respond to HR queries and provide guidance in line with policies and procedures.
- Contribute to HR projects, change initiatives and process improvements.
About you
You’ll ideally have:
- CIPD Level 5qualification.
- Previous experience in anHR Adviser or HR Generalistrole.
- Experience within Financial Services or a regulated environment is desirable.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence working withHRIS, Excel, HR data and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to work independently.
