An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Generalist to join a prestigious Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) Family Office based in Mayfair.
Working closely with the Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of a first-class HR service across the full employee lifecycle.
As a trusted partner to the Chief of Staff, you will provide hands-on HR support, ensure smooth day-to-day people operations, and contribute to the continued development of a high-performing, professional, and people-focused private office environment.
This is a broad and varied part-time role offering genuine ownership, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to work closely with leadership on HR operations, employee experience, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Chief of Staff to support all aspects of HR operations and employee matters across the private office.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for HR-related queries, providing professional, timely, and confidential support to employees and leadership.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle.
- Lead the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience for new joiners.
- Support employee relations matters, including preparing documentation, coordinating meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintain HR systems and employee records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate recruitment activity in partnership with the Chief of Staff and hiring managers, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and recruitment administration.
- Produce regular HR reports and assist the Chief of Staff with people data analysis and reporting.
- Support performance review cycles, learning and development initiatives, and wider HR processes.
- Assist with the review and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and process improvements.
- Support HR projects that enhance employee experience, operational efficiency, and the overall effectiveness of the private office.
About You
- 3–5 years’ experience in an HR Assistant, HR Advisor, or HR Generalist position.
- Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and core HR processes.
- Previous experience supporting onboarding, employee relations, recruitment, and HR operations.
- Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted HR partner.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, discreet, and ever-changing environment.
- Naturally confidential and professional, with experience handling sensitive information.
- A solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improving processes and delivering an exceptional employee experience.
Skills & Experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday or similar systems.
- Strong HR administration, reporting, and recruitment coordination experience.
- Knowledge of UK employment practices and HR best practice.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous but is not essential.
