We’re recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing specialist consultancy within the innovation funding and tax relief market.
This is a new-business focused sales role for someone who knows how to build a pipeline, open doors and develop credible relationships with senior decision-makers.
Working with innovative businesses across sectors including fintech, AI, defence and sustainable technology, you’ll identify new opportunities, engage prospective clients and introduce specialist services across R&D tax relief, Capital Allowances and Energy Relief.
The business has grown quickly since launching in 2020 and is continuing to invest in its sales team to drive further growth.
They’re looking for someone commercially ambitious who enjoys creating opportunities, winning new clients and taking ownership of the sales process from initial prospecting through to close.
Build long-term relationships across a growing portfolio of businesses.
Leverage your existing network to create new opportunities where relevant.
Represent the business at industry events, networking opportunities and professional association meetings.
Track, manage and forecast pipeline activity and sales performance.
At least five years’ experience within B2B sales or business development.
Confident building a pipeline from the ground up and generating your own opportunities.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
An existing network of relevant business contacts would be advantageous.
Motivated by both individual performance and being part of a growing business.
