Our Insurance client is seeking a professional, organised and personable Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to support our busy London office. This is a dual role combining front‑of‑house responsibilities with wider administrative support across the business.

Working Pattern

  • Mon–Tues: Reception (08:30–17:00)
  • Wed–Thurs: Administration (09:00–17:00)

Fully site‑based Monday–Thursday. There is potential for the role to increase to 5 days per week for candidates seeking full‑time hours (2 days Reception, 3 days Admin).

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming visitors and managing the reception area
  • Coordinating meeting rooms, catering and room setup
  • Handling calls, post, couriers and office supplies
  • Maintaining tidy communal areas and refreshment stations
  • Audio/copy typing and document production
  • Supporting events, travel arrangements and general office administration
  • Updating systems, running reports and filing
  • Providing cover for reception and secretarial teams when required
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks during quieter periods
