Private & Business Executive Assistant to UHNW Individual and Investment House Principal

Overview: An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an accomplished, discreet, and emotionally intelligent Executive Assistant to support the Head of a prestigious investment house and their family. This is a unique, dual-faceted role combining high-level private EA responsibilities with business and financial support within a fast-paced, international investment environment. The successful candidate will act as the Principal’s trusted gatekeeper and right hand, overseeing the smooth running of both personal and professional affairs. This includes comprehensive diary and travel management, investment meeting coordination, private household oversight, philanthropic initiatives, and complex international projects. Absolute discretion, impeccable organisational skills, and an anticipatory, solutions-led mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business & Financial Support: Provide executive-level assistance to the Principal in their capacity as Head of an investment house. Manage business diaries, board meetings, and client engagements, ensuring seamless scheduling and logistics across international time zones. Liaise with senior stakeholders, portfolio managers, legal advisors, and finance teams on behalf of the Principal. Track key business priorities, deadlines, and personal investments, ensuring the Principal is well-prepared and fully briefed at all times. Handle confidential financial documents, statements, and sensitive correspondence with discretion. Support philanthropic board positions and family office financial activities, including charitable giving and governance reporting.
  • Private Diary & Appointment Management: Oversee complex personal schedules for the Principal and family, including medical, social, and personal appointments. Coordinate across multiple properties, time zones, and private staff to ensure seamless diary management.
  • Household & Staff Management: Oversee daily operations and staffing across multiple international residences, ensuring smooth running and service standards. Manage household budgets, supplier relationships, and property maintenance schedules.
  • Event & Private Dinner Planning: Plan and manage private dinners, high-profile charity events, and business-hosted functions both in the UK and abroad.
  • Art Collection Management: Oversee care, insurance, shipment, and logistics of a significant private art collection, liaising with galleries, shippers, and customs agents.
  • Project Management: Lead bespoke private and business projects, ensuring timely delivery and discreet, efficient handling.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a dual private/business EA role supporting UHNW individuals, investment principals, or family office leaders
  • Graduate calibre with strong academic credentials and intellectual rigour
  • Highly discreet, emotionally intelligent, and exceptionally organised
  • Proven ability to manage complex, shifting priorities in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
