Eden Project is an educational charity famous for turning an exhausted clay pit in Cornwall into a thriving global garden 25 years ago. Construction has now begun on an exciting new Eden Project in Lancashire set to transform Morecambe Bay seafront into a world-class destination for visitors and learning. Eden Project also delivers UK-wide community outreach programmes that focus on creating strong, resilient communities and encouraging positive action for people and planet.
Reporting to the Senior Digital Design Manager, the post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of community and campaign focused digital content across our social media channels, as well as community building associated with driving positive change (3.5 days per week). This is a unique opportunity to drive digital engagement and participation in one of Eden Project's flagship campaigns - The Big Lunch and Big Help Out - which see millions participate every year, as well as our newly launched national campaign - Greentime17 - which encourages people to make spending time in nature a daily habit to boost their health and wellbeing. The post holder will generate engaging year-round community-focused content and promote activities such as our Community Action Programme.
The post holder will also be responsible for creating content for our new Eden Project Morecambe social media channels, growing the audience, connecting with the local community, and keeping them informed and engaged as this new destination develops (1.5 days per week). It's a significant and inspiring time to join the team, as construction starts ahead of Eden Project Morecambe opening in 2028.
