We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our team at our new St Andrews Distillery Visitor Centre and Bar. The ideal candidate will have a flair for crafting unique cocktails and a deep understanding of beverage pairings. As a Mixologist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience by providing exceptional service and creating memorable drinks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Duties:
- Create innovative cocktail recipes that reflect seasonal, current trends and customer preferences.
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
- Maintain an organised bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
- Engage with guests, recommending drinks and providing an elevated bar experience.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Stay updated on industry trends and new cocktail recipes to continually enhance the drink menu.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or mixology within a hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, with a flair for presentation.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
