We are currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very highly regarded and well-known Lloyd’s Syndicate and (re)insurer.

The successful candidate will proactively handle and adjust a portfolio of Cyber claims from first notification to final resolution, as well as drafting letters of claim.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively adjusting Cyber claims within a set claims authority level, including more complex claims.
  • Ensuring and delivering excellent claims service to all customers, by effectively driving claims through to resolution.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of the Cyber underwriting and claims portfolio.
  • Assisting the Claims Manager with the training and development of more junior members of the Cyber Claims team.
  • Instructing and proactively overseeing Lawyers, Adjusters and experts from the company's panel.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships, and driving / overseeing your team’s relationship, with key external customers i.e. key brokers, external vendors, etc.
  • Assisting the Claims Manager with the oversight of delegated claims authority holders ('DCAs'), service providers, or outsource partners.
Key Requirements
  • Proven experience of drafting letters of claim is essential.
  • Cyber Claims handling experience is preferred, but not essential. Candidates with other claims or legal backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Law Degree is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience of coverholder management and oversight, as well as the Lloyd’s claims scheme and related claims handling systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
