Eden House is a specialist residential family assessment service dedicated to providing a secure, structured, and supportive environment for parents and their children. Partnering with local authorities and agencies, Eden House conducts comprehensive parenting capacity assessments and offers evidence-based support tailored to promote sustainable, positive outcomes for families. The service includes round-the-clock support, direct parenting observations, structured interventions, and detailed reporting to enhance stability and independence. Eden House employs therapeutic input, safeguarding-led practices, and bespoke support plans, with child safety and wellbeing at the center of its mission. We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager (RM) to lead our Ofsted-regulated Family Assessment Centre in South Yorkshire. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high-quality parenting assessments, and maintain full compliance with Ofsted’s Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF) and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the service to meet Ofsted Quality Standards.
  • Oversee evidence-based family assessments and safeguarding practice.
  • Ensure accurate recording, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
  • Recruit, supervise, and develop staff to meet inspection expectations.
  • Prepare for Ofsted inspections and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
  • Experience in an Ofsted-regulated setting (children’s residential or family assessment).
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and excellent leadership skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, child-centred, and trauma-informed practice.
