Please note: our hotel is in a very remote location and is not accessible by public transport.

As our Maintenance Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Estates and lead our on-property maintenance team, keeping the hotel running smoothly and looking its best. You will play a hands-on role in overseeing day-to-day maintenance, making sure work is carried out safely, efficiently and in the most cost-effective way. You will work closely with external contractors and support the Head of Estates with health and safety responsibilities, ensuring we meet all company, statutory and legal requirements at all times.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in high standards, enjoys leading a team and wants to make a real impact behind the scenes of a luxury property.

The ideal candidate will have previous Facilities/Maintenance experience gained in a front facing customer environment (ideally hotels) as well as having a specialist trade yourself in electrical, plumbing, carpenter or construction. You will have practical working knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, health and safety and fire regulations. You will be a very hands-on person, self-motivated, with a very proactive approach.

Most important is the ability to manage a multi task list through effective delegation and follow through to ensure that maintenance tasks are dealt with as quickly as possible and to high standards, as well as maintaining the PPM for the property.
