Job Overview

Contracted to a 37.5 hour week (five over seven days), the Reservations Coordinator works within the sales department to manage hotel reservations by phone, take bookings, provide prices and give comprehensive descriptions of rooms and facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hotel reservations via phone and email.
  • Provide accurate pricing and detailed descriptions of rooms and facilities.
  • Follow up on all enquiries in a timely manner and respond to guest e‑mails promptly.
  • Promote sales incentives, packages and promotions to maximise revenue potential.
  • Operate reservation system and allocate rooms efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • IT savvy – proficient with reservation systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a "can do" attitude.
  • Previous experience in a hotel receptionist role preferred; passion for great customer service and exceptional people skills essential.
