As an Events Manager, you’ll organise conferences, weddings and events from initial enquiry through to the day of the event. You’ll be a top‑class reader of people, with the ability to interpret someone’s vision for their event to create a package and memorable experience that matches. You’ll do all of this with the sale and the guest in mind, ensuring that we are driving rates in line with our comp set and luxury red‑star status.

Qualifications

  • To have worked within a similar role or a proactive sales role within the hospitality or events sector; ideally in a similar style of property
  • To be a true people person – able to build natural rapport to drive sales and hit revenue targets while delivering first‑class service to our guests
  • Be a master organiser, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining great attention to detail
  • To be a team player – our sales team may be small but they have strong team spirit and support each other
  • A quick self‑learner with a proactive, calculated “give it a go” attitude; resilient and able to recover well when faced with challenges
  • Strong IT and admin skills are essential
  • Experience of Hart PMS is beneficial but not essential
