The Role

We are excited to welcome a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our Leisure Team as a Pool Attendant. In this role, you will be based in the luxurious pool and thermal spa suite at Eden Hall, where you will play a crucial part in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable and safe experience. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the pool and thermal spa areas to ensure the safety of all guests
  • Providing excellent customer service by enhancing our guests' experience and assisting with any inquiries or needs
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the pool and spa areas
  • Enforcing pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment
  • Providing tours of the pool and spa facilities
  • Performing daily inspections which include water testing and plant pool monitoring
  • Providing cover at the gym reception

Personal Specification

Essentials:

  • Due to health and safety aspects of the job, applicants must be over the age of 18 years old
  • Have a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or Pool Responder Certificate
  • Have a First Aid Certificate
  • Have excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Have the ability to swim proficiently

Desirables:

  • Have previous experience within the hospitality industry
  • Have pool plant operation knowledge

Shift Pattern

Part-time and Full-time opportunities available - working a minimum of 2 days per week (16 hours). Hours of work: Between hrs or hrs and will include working evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business.
