Eden Gallery is a leading contemporary art gallery with a global presence. We are seeking a Manager of Art Handlers to oversee the safe handling, transportation, shipping, installation and storage of high-value artworks. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in art logistics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced gallery environment. A valid driving license and experience driving a 3.5t Luton van are essential for this role.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in art handling within a gallery, museum, or fine art logistics company.
  • Valid UK driving license and experience driving a 3.5t Luton van.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to safely handle and transport fragile, high-value artworks.
  • Knowledge of installation techniques for a variety of mediums (paintings, sculptures, mixed media, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in high-end contemporary art galleries or fine art logistics companies.
  • Familiarity with international shipping procedures and customs regulations.
