The Operations Support Manager for Complesso, part of the Eden Futures Group, will provide support to the Area Manager and local teams across the Dudley, Stourbridge, and Wolverhampton region. The role is based at our Wolverhampton office and requires regular travel within the region.

We are seeking a highly organised and IT-proficient individual who can support a range of operational activities, including managing and scheduling high-volume staff rotas, coordinating community-based activities, liaising with service users, monitoring quality standards, and co-managing referrals.

This role is ideally suited to candidates with experience in the UK social care sector and a sound understanding of CQC regulations and standards. Previous knowledge and experience of working within a CQC-regulated environment would be highly advantageous.

Applicants need to have a full UK Driving licence and use of their own vehicle, as this role will involve regular travel.

The basic salary for this role is Β£28,392

Main Responsibilities

  • To support the Registered Manager (RM) to develop and manage a person-centred service that will provide a high-quality care and support.
  • Liaise with the Registered Manager regarding any updates, changes to business and reviews for existing contracts in place which are assigned to you.
  • To Support in Rota Management including setting of rotas by service user needs. Monitor and approve field support staff team annual leave.
  • To complete payroll duties for field staff.
  • To Liaise with the HR administrator with any staff management actions.
  • To complete On Call / Out Of Hours Support - On A Rota Basis and complete on call documents in a timely manner.
  • Able to follow Complesso Healthcare values and beliefs, REACH standards and FREDA.
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.
  • To undertake quality monitoring in line with compliance and regulatory requirements as outlined by CQC or local authorities - Both using internal and external paperwork.
  • To support Team Leaders in their role and to assist in the development and performance of these Team Leaders and support workers- training, supervisions, appraisals and ad hoc support.
  • To be responsible for supporting new ways of working or documentation to ensure Complesso are raising the bar from good to outstanding.
  • To support in the initial set up of packages including assessments, record keeping, ways of work and staffing allocations.
  • To be responsible and accountable to complete all relatable audits and set action points within given timeframes.
  • Uphold Complesso's policies and procedures at all times.
  • To support the Registered Manager to ensure the service meets, and exceeds, the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and the Care Quality Commission guidance 'Essential Standards of Quality & Safety'.
  • Safeguarding the IWS and the staff supporting, reporting in a timely manner any concerns with an open and transparent approach.
  • To Support the Registered Manager to ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person centred planning and regular outcome focused reviews of services.
  • Support the registered manager to interview for senior positions such as team leaders

The Ideal Candidate

  • Have knowledge and experience of CQC, including inspection expectations and remits of a provider
  • Have previous experience with Adults with Learning Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours, Physical disabilities, Mental Health, Forensic Background and Drug and Alcohol Dependencies
  • A passion for supporting individuals
  • The ability to drive is essential for this role
  • Excellent IT/Numeracy skills, along with strong experience of Microsoft/Excel
  • Ideally have used an online rota tool previously e.g. RotaCloud or similar
