We are recruiting Support Workers to join our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes and in the community to live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting service users to lead active lives in line with their wishes, needs, and support plans, and participating in plan development where applicable.
  2. Ensuring safety and safeguarding welfare, taking appropriate actions to protect from abuse.
  3. Providing emotional support with a person-centred approach.
  4. Assisting with social activities, managing finances and medication, practical tasks at home, and supporting personal care, hygiene, and healthcare.
  5. Acting as an informal contact for the service users\’ support circle, such as families and social workers.
  6. Reporting and recording issues related to care to monitor health and wellbeing.
  7. Complying with health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of others.

Employment details:

  • Hourly rate: £12.21 (approximate annual salary £26,652.72 for a 42-hour week), with NLW applicable and pro-rated based on hours.

  • Comprehensive induction, including face-to-face training, e-learning, and shadowing.
  • Support to complete Care Certificate and Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care.
