Role Overview
As a Senior Services Manager, you will play a key role in working closely with the Area Manager to drive service excellence and performance.
You will ensure that we are responsive to those we support in a caring and safe environment, whilst ensuring we are meeting legislative obligations and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Managing Service Delivery & Quality: ensure day to day service provision fully complies with the Eden philosophy, values, policies and procedures and with local and national legislation, regulations and research; ensure services meet requirements of CQC registration.
- Service Development: continually seek new opportunities for growth and development of services while protecting and safeguarding the company’s values and culture.
- People Management & Leadership: provide clear management and support to the local team to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered; supervise, appraise, train and develop staff and hold them accountable for meeting expectations.
- Collaborative
Working: lead the team in promoting an environment of collaborative working with other departments and agencies, both across the company and within the wider multi‑disciplinary team.
- Professional
Development: continually develop as a professional, keep skills updated, stay abreast of new ideas and sector changes and lead the company within your area of expertise.

Outcomes: assess and manage risks associated with developing services, promote growth and support colleagues in monitoring and managing KPI data such as employee retention, sickness absence and void fill.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Previous experience in a supported living or residential service.
- Familiarity with CQC standards.
- A strong leader who leads by example and can work effectively in a fast‑paced, demanding role.
- A level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or relevant career experience.
- Experience of line management and leading teams in the sector.
- Caring and compassionate with a genuine passion for helping service users realise independence.
- Ability to remain positive and influence the well‑being of others during challenging days.
