We are Eden Futures, delivering exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs. We recruit support workers to join our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes and in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.
Pay and Working Hours
- Pay: £12.21 per hour, or £26,652.72 annually based on a 42‑hour working week (annual figure illustrated).
- Flexible full‑time or part‑time contracts, including bank/agency work.
- Successful candidates will have an Enhanced DBS check before starting.
Training and Development
- Comprehensive induction programme, face‑to‑face training, e‑learning and shadowing.
- Support for the Care Certificate and a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care.

Main Responsibilities
- Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and choices, considering assessed needs and individual support and care plans, and participating in the development of plans where applicable.
- Keep service users safe, taking appropriate action to safeguard welfare and protect from abuse where possible.
- Provide emotional support, maintaining a person‑centred approach.
- Support service users to participate in chosen social activities, manage finances and medication, and assist with practical tasks and personal care, hygiene and healthcare.
- Act as an informal point of contact for families, social workers and others in the service users’ support circle.
- Accurately report and record any issues related to care and support to monitor health and wellbeing.
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations and consider the health, safety and welfare of others.
