We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs. We are recruiting Support Workers to join the team across our Supported Living Services, supporting individuals in their own homes as well as out in the community, helping them to live as independently as possible.

Salary: Hourly rate £12.60 (equivalent annual salary £27,518.40 based on a 42 hour working week). NLW applies and will be pro‑rata based on hours worked. This is a Full Time contracted position. Flexible regarding working hours/shifts with ability to work around existing commitments.

Successful candidates must have an Enhanced DBS check prior to commencement. On joining Eden Futures you will be paid for completing a comprehensive Induction Programme incorporating face‑to‑face training, e‑learning and shadowing experienced team members. For new entrants you will be given support to complete your Care Certificate and gain a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care, partnered with Paragon Training.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and choices, based on assessed needs and individual support and care plans, and participate in plan development where applicable.
  • Ensure safety, taking appropriate action to safeguard welfare and protect users from abuse.
  • Provide emotional support when needed in a person‑centred approach.
  • Support users to participate in chosen social activities, manage finances and medication responsibly, assist with practical tasks at home, and provide personal care, hygiene and healthcare support.
  • Act as an informal point of contact for users’ families and social workers.
  • Accurately report and record any issues related to care and support to monitor users’ health and wellbeing.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations and regard the health, safety and welfare of others.
