We are recruiting Specialist Support Workers to join our Supported Living services in Crewe. The role supports individuals in their own homes and in the community, assisting them to live as independently as possible.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and choices, considering their assessed needs and individual support and care plans and participating in the development of plans where applicable.
  • Support individuals to stay safe, taking appropriate action to safeguard their welfare and protect them from abuse wherever possible.
  • Provide emotional support when needed, maintaining a person‑centred approach.
  • Support service users to participate in chosen social activities and services in their community, manage their finances and medication responsibly, help with practical tasks around the home, and respectfully support with personal care, hygiene and healthcare.
  • Act as an informal point of contact for the service users’ circle of support (e.g., families and social workers).
  • Accurately report and record any issues related to the care and support of our Service Users to monitor their health and wellbeing.
  • Comply with Health and Safety regulations and have regard for the Health, Safety and Welfare of others.

Eligibility and Qualifications

  • Caring and compassionate, with a genuine passion for helping service users lead a full and active life and enable them to achieve independence.
  • Will remain positive during challenging days and influence how someone feels.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and using initiative, and is willing to support colleagues when needed.
  • Minimum 6‑12 months working within care sector. Experience is not mandatory for all aspects; we value qualities and values first.

Pay is £13.20 per hour (equivalent to £28,828.80 per annum based on a 42‑hour week). Pay is pro‑rated based on hours worked. Eligible for a £500 referral bonus through the refer‑a‑friend scheme. We cannot offer sponsorship.
