We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs. As a Senior Services Manager, you will play a key role in working closely with the Area Manager to drive service excellence and performance. You will ensure that we are responsive to those we support in a caring and safe environment, whilst ensuring we are meeting legislative obligations and compliance standards.

Main Responsibility:

  • Managing Service Delivery & Quality: To ensure the day to day service provision fully complies with the Eden philosophy, values, policies and procedures whilst also fully complying with local and national legislation, regulations and research. Ensuring services meet the requirements of CQC registration.
  • Service Development: Continually seek out new opportunities for growth and development of the services whilst protecting and safeguarding the Company’s values and culture.
  • People Management & Leadership: Provide clear management and support to the local team in order to ensure the highest quality of service is delivered.
  • Collaborative Working: Lead the team in promoting an environment of collaborative working with other departments and agencies, both across the Company and within the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team.
  • Professional Development: Aspire to continually develop as a professional, ensuring skills are updated, keeping abreast of new ideas and sector changes and lead the Company within your area of expertise.
  • Leading Services: Leading those you manage through supervision, appraisals, training and continuous development. Holding those you manage accountable by understanding the expectations of all roles within the service, ensuring the support and resources are provided.
  • Delivering Positive Outcomes: Assessing and managing the risks associated with developing services whilst promoting growth. Supporting colleagues in monitoring and managing KPI data e.g. employee retention, sickness absence levels and void fill.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Ideally you will have previous experience in a Supported Living or Residential service.
  • Familiar with CQC standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, demanding role.
  • A strong leader who can lead by example.
  • A level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or relevant career experience.
  • Experience of line management and leading teams in our sector.
  • Caring and compassionate, having a genuine passion for wanting to help our service users lead a full and active life to enable them to achieve as much independence as possible.
  • Ability to remain positive when there are challenging days.
