Job Overview

We're looking for an experienced, reliable Steel Erector to join our site team. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows structural steel, works safely at height, and takes pride in doing the job properly. You'll be working on live construction sites erecting structural steelwork as part of a skilled crew. We want someone who understands teamwork, follows drawings accurately, and keeps safety front and centre at all times.

Main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Assembly and erecting of steel work.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver project to high standards, within budget and within the timeframe specified by the client.
  • Ensuring installation meets health & safety requirements and the project programme.
  • Identifying any changes to the works specification and reporting to the site supervisor.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and working in accordance with specifications.
  • Site measuring, setting out, and working to levels.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Necessary requirements:

  • Valid CSR / CSCS card essential.
  • IPAF tickets essential.
  • Proven experience in structural steel erection.
  • Strong understanding of site safety and working at height.
  • Slinger/Signaller/Telehandler (A40) ticket preferred.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team.
