Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day. Preferred hours are 08:00–12:00.
(For the right candidate, a later start time may be accommodated, however the latest start time is 09:30 due to operational requirement)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Stock & Supplier Performance Controller to take ownership of inventory accuracy, supplier performance management, stock-related investigations and continuous improvement initiatives within our ecommerce fulfilment operation.

This role is responsible for ensuring stock integrity across the warehouse, driving supplier accountability, identifying operational losses and implementing improvements that enhance inventory control and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will work closely with Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Customer Services and Finance, acting as a key point of control for inventory and supplier-related performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Stock Control & Inventory Accuracy

  • Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy across the warehouse.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and identify root causes.
  • Manage stock adjustments, reconciliations, damages and inventory exceptions.
  • Support cycle counting and stock verification activities.
  • Monitor inventory trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure stock control processes are followed consistently.

Supplier Performance Management

  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, shortages, damages and quality issues.
  • Investigate and manage supplier-related inventory discrepancies.
  • Raise, track and resolve supplier claims and stock issues.
  • Manage supplier communication relating to shortages, damages and credits.
  • Produce supplier performance reporting and identify recurring issues.
  • Work with suppliers to improve service levels and reduce stock-related losses.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce regular inventory and supplier performance reports.
  • Analyse stock variances, damages, write-offs and operational losses.
  • Identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Support inventory-related financial reconciliations and controls.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve stock accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Review existing stock control processes and recommend enhancements.
  • Support implementation of system and process improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of a structured Stock Control and Loss Prevention framework.
  • Drive actions that reduce inventory discrepancies, damages and supplier-related issues.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Experience

  • Previous experience in Stock Control, Inventory Control or Warehouse Inventory Management.
  • Experience managing supplier-related stock issues and performance.
  • Experience investigating stock discrepancies and operational issues.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory processes.
  • Experience using WMS, ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills.

Essential Skills

  • Confident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
