With 100% remote working, you could be doing one or all of these things on any given day:

  • Ownership and responsibility for managing a caseload of mixed residential property cases from instruction through to completion
  • Provide cover for colleagues on other cases with direction from your Team Leader
  • Use the case management system to accurately update case tasks and activities in a timely manner
  • Manage deadlines and deal with exchange of contracts and completion of transactions
  • Provide proactive communication to keep clients, partners and other conveyancers updated on case progress
  • Resolve complex legal issues related to the sale or purchase of a property
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal policies across all conveyancing transactions
  • Deliver KPIs that provide excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Undertake file audits and reviews (dependent on experience)
  • Assist our Team Leaders with team development, coaching and mentoring (dependent on experience)
  • Deputise for the Team Leader (dependent on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure regulatory, legal, and internal policy compliance across conveyancing transactions
  • Deliver quality customer service and satisfaction KPIs
  • Conduct file audits and reviews (based on experience)
  • Support Team Leaders with coaching and mentoring (based on experience)
  • Deputise for the Team Leader (based on experience)

Requirements:

  • 1+ years post qualification experience or pre-qualification experience and qualifications in residential conveyancing as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Evidence of recent CPD including AML training
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong affinity for digital technology
  • Experience and competency in sale, purchase, remortgage and transfers of equity work
  • Experience of freehold and leasehold property transactions
  • Ambition to develop conveyancing experience and skills
