Team Manager required for work within the Family Safeguarding service in the Yeovil area. Excellent rates of pay at £44ph for experienced candidates. 3 months initial contract, 37 hours a week. Flexible working - 3 days in office as minimum.

Family Safeguarding Team Manager responsible for the line management and supervision of 6 Family Safeguarding Social Workers supporting children and their families receiving support under Child in Need and Child Protection, and subject to PLO and Care proceedings.

As part of the Children and Families Operations Service all staff are required to:

  • Place quality and performance at the heart of everything they do.
  • Be proactive and responsible for contributing to the achievement of positive well-being and safeguarding outcomes for children and young people in Somerset.
  • Work towards the achievement of key performance indicators.
  • Be open to change and work in a flexible way as part of an integrated service to Children and Families.
  • Support the strategic objective of ensuring that there are the right number, type and quality of places for children in Somerset.

Duties and Responsibilities: You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
