Social Worker required for work within the Fostering Team in the South West area. Dorset Fostering team are offering good rates up to £38ph for the right candidates. Long term contracts offered in a well managed supportive team. This job doesn't often come up! Beautiful location near the coast with good transport links. Flexible working offered with remote base for now and only essential visits. 3 months initial contract 37 hours a week.
The appointed Social Worker will be part of the Foster Team in Dorchester. Experience of working with foster carers as professional colleagues and working in a multi-disciplinary arena are essential. This will be a mixed role of Supervising Foster carers and possible assessment, undertaking Form F, assessments, form C assessments, with potential of being required to undertake SGO assessment. Work as part of permanence service and will need the ability and skills to support carers across the permanence field.
You will be Social Work England registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
