Due to continued growth, a prestigious client of ours is currently on the lookout for an experienced Intermediate or established Senior Electrical Engineer to add to their MEP team in Manchester/Leeds.
They are a well-known multidisciplinary engineering practice that specializes within the Building Services sector. With projects across the UK, they tackle complex engineering challenges across a multitude of sectors including: Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Commercial Office, Sport & Leisure, and Retail. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the team, using your leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior engineers while maintaining strong relationships with clients. You will also take charge of projects, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your team and resources to ensure the success of each project.
- Oversee project design from start to finish.
- Guide and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Foster the professional growth of junior engineers.
- Maintain records in line with CIBSE standards.
- Conduct thorough site investigations, inspections, and identify challenges.
- Ensure designs align with required standards and compliance.
- Review electrical design constraints and coordinate with other professionals.
- Communicate regularly with team members, clients, and construction professionals to ensure project alignment.
- Understand project budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver successful outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Professional registration and working towards Chartered status with IET / CIBSE (Desired but not Essential).
- HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent certified Electrical Engineer.
Software Proficiency:
- Revit, AutoCAD, Trimble, Relux, BIM, and Office 365.
