Senior Cost Manager Major Transport Infrastructure Programme | Ireland Competitive Salary + Package Eden Brown is delighted to be partnering with a leading international project and cost management consultancy to appoint an experienced Senior Cost Manager for a major transport infrastructure programme in Ireland. Our client is a globally recognised consultancy with an established track record of delivering complex construction, real estate and infrastructure projects for some of the worlds most respected organisations. Due to continued growth and a significant project pipeline, they are seeking a commercially astute Senior Cost Manager to play a key role in the successful delivery of a landmark transport programme. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior commercial professional with extensive infrastructure experience and a proven track record working under NEC contracts, which is an essential requirement for the role. The Role As Senior Cost Manager, you will provide strategic commercial and cost management leadership throughout the project lifecycle, supporting clients and stakeholders on a high-profile infrastructure programme. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing, interpreting and preparing cost estimates throughout design and construction stages. Providing procurement advice, tender evaluations and contractor recommendation reports. Leading client accounts and acting as a trusted commercial advisor. Reviewing contracts and supporting contract negotiations. Administering and managing NEC contracts throughout project delivery. Evaluating change orders, compensation events and contractor pricing submissions. Managing contract administration activities and construction-phase cost controls. Delivering cost management services including value engineering, forecasting and reporting. Preparing project plans, fee proposals and resource forecasts. Supporting senior leadership with commercial reporting and strategic project input. Mentoring and developing junior cost management professionals. Supporting business development and maintaining strong industry relationships. About You To be considered for this position, you will possess: 15+ years experience in cost management, quantity surveying or commercial management. Extensive experience delivering major transport, infrastructure, rail, highways or civil engineering projects. Strong NEC contract experience is essential. Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Cost Management or a related discipline. MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation preferred. Strong pre-contract and post-contract cost management expertise. Excellent understanding of infrastructure procurement and commercial delivery models. Experience managing complex stakeholder and client relationships. Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff. Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills. Whats on Offer?
