This role offers the opportunity to take commercial responsibility for a diverse portfolio of prestigious projects, working closely with directors, project managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects
- Preparing budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
- Procuring subcontractors and negotiating packages of work
- Preparing and submitting valuations and interim applications
- Managing variations and change control processes
- Monitoring project costs, profitability, and cash flow
- Assessing and agreeing subcontractor applications and final accounts
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks
- Producing accurate commercial reports and forecasts
- Supporting operational teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Strong background in luxury residential, refurbishment, fit-out, or commercial interior projects
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts and commercial procedures
- Excellent negotiation and procurement skills
- Strong financial and analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
