The Role
You'll take a leading role in the delivery of mechanical building services projects, from early-stage concept through to detailed design and delivery. You'll be involved in developing mechanical strategies, carrying out design calculations, producing specifications and technical information, and coordinating designs with the wider project team. You'll also have regular opportunities to work directly with clients and design teams, giving you the chance to build strong relationships and take real ownership of your projects.

The Manchester team works across a diverse portfolio of major projects across the wider North West including healthcare, education, commercial, transport, science and research, sport and regeneration. Sustainability is central to the wider practice, with a strong focus on energy efficiency, low-carbon design, building performance and creating more resilient buildings.
About You
You'll be an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in building services design and a good understanding of delivering projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment. You'll ideally be Chartered or working towards Chartership, with experience taking responsibility for your own projects and supporting more junior engineers. Strong communication skills are important, as you'll be working closely with clients, architects and other consultants. Experience with Revit and relevant mechanical design software would be beneficial.
