The predicted salary is between 75600 - 92400 £ per year.

Candidates with experience in the data centre sector will be highly favoured, although this is not a strict requirement, you could come from a hi-tech manufacturing, science & Research/ Cleanroom or other highly technical background. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in delivering projects and a strong background in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering. You’ll be joining a business that leads the industry in innovation, modern safety practices, and fostering a positive working environment.

The role will be remote although there will be elements of travel across the UK as and when to various sites., * Attend regular meetings with the production team to promptly address and resolve any technical challenges.

  • Coordinate and manage external consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prepare and review technical specifications to align with project requirements.

  • Collaborate with key team members during project costing and design stages.

  • Oversee and control the entire design process, from planning applications through to project handover.

  • Ensure all designs meet Employers Requirements and Contractors Proposals while maintaining quality and compliance.

  • Facilitate value engineering and ensure designs prioritise buildability and efficiency.

  • Establish and maintain information registers and ensure document control adheres to established procedures.

  • Review design developments to ensure safe construction practices are incorporated.

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a design or technical manager within a general contractor or large M&E contractor/consultancy.

  • Strong background in mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering is essential.

  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proactive, career-focused, and dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes.

  • Data Centre experience highly advantageous.
