The Company
Our client is a leading specialist contractor delivering drylining, partitions, ceilings, SFS and interior packages on some of Londons most prestigious construction projects.
Working with major developers, main contractors and blue-chip clients, they have built an outstanding reputation for quality, delivery and repeat business.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will take full commercial responsibility for multiple drylining and interiors projects from procurement through to final account.
Projects range from £2m to £20m+ across
- High-rise residential developments
- Build-to-Rent schemes
- Student accommodation
- Mixed-use schemes
Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial management of projects
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- CVR production and analysis
- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Valuation preparation and agreement
- Variation management
- Risk and opportunity management
- Contract administration
- Final account negotiation
- Client and stakeholder relationship management
- Mentoring junior commercial staff
- Candidate Requirements
- Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor
- Previous experience within Drylining, Ceilings, Partitions, SFS or Interiors
- Excellent understanding of commercial reporting and cost management
- Knowledge of JCT contracts
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
