The predicted salary is between 47250 - 57750 £ per year.
The role will be responsible for leading the Commissioning process from the project's commencement to its close out. Working with Stakeholders, General Contractors, Commissioning Agents and Architect/Engineering Consultants. The role will be to lead, coordinate, track and drive all these parties' activities to deliver a well-managed and successful conclusion to the Commissioning Process. Initially UK based but likely to move to site in around a year.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all commissioning activities on site from planning through to project completion.
- Develop, implement and manage the project commissioning plan.
- Oversee and mentor commissioning engineers and other direct reports.
- Manage the commissioning tagging process and ensure all procedures are followed.
- Monitor and report commissioning progress to both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Chair weekly commissioning meetings and coordinate daily commissioning activities.
- Lead daily whiteboard meetings to drive progress and resolve commissioning issues.
- Attend main contractor and client commissioning meetings, providing regular progress updates.
- Work closely with project planners to develop and maintain the commissioning programme.
- Ensure all commissioning personnel are accurately recorded on labour allocation trackers.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years experience in a Commissioning Manager position on large-scale industrial, commercial or mission-critical projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services and commissioning processes.
- Knowledge of European standards, regulations and industry best practice.
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel when required.
