Role Overview
They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join their London office. The successful candidate will manage key financial processes including bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, and invoice management, supporting the smooth financial operation of our SME.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance operations using QuickBooks and Excel
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments accurately and on time
- Assist with payroll administration ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
- Prepare financial reports and management accounts for senior leadership
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits as required
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure efficient financial processes
- Assist in ad hoc finance projects and process improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience in finance or accounting within an SME environment ideally in construction
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (advanced functions desirable)
- Experience with payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Chartered status or working towards chartership is desirable but not essential
