Electrical Package Managers - Data Centres

We are partnering with a leading data centre and mission-critical construction business to appoint experienced Electrical Package Managers for a hyperscale data centre programme

This is a key delivery role responsible for managing the successful execution of major electrical packages on a large-scale technical construction project.

Working within an established project team, the successful candidate will take ownership of package delivery, ensuring programme milestones, subcontractor performance, quality standards and project objectives are achieved.

The position offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the most significant data centre developments, working alongside experienced construction, engineering, commercial and commissioning professionals within a highly collaborative project environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of designated electrical packages from installation through to completion and handover.
  • Coordinate specialist subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
  • Drive package performance against key programme milestones and delivery objectives.
  • Monitor subcontractor progress, resource levels and site activities across multiple work fronts.
  • Coordinate closely with project management, planning, engineering and commissioning teams to support successful package delivery.
  • Review technical information, construction documentation and design deliverables to ensure effective coordination and buildability.
  • Manage technical queries, design interfaces and site coordination issues throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support commercial activities including change management, variations and package reporting.
  • Lead package coordination meetings and contribute to wider project planning and progress reviews.
  • Promote high standards of health, safety, quality and compliance across all package activities.
  • Support testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover processes.
  • Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience operating as an Electrical Package Manager, Senior Electrical Engineer, Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Project Engineer or similar delivery-focused position.
  • Strong background delivering electrical packages on major construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing specialist subcontractors and coordinating multiple project stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programme delivery and package management.
  • Ability to manage technical, operational and commercial aspects of project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, installation methodologies and project delivery processes.
  • Experience within data centres, mission-critical facilities, industrial, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or other technically demanding construction sectors would be highly advantageous.
