A highly regarded building services engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to its growing London team. With a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging and architecturally significant projects, the business works across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, luxury residential, hospitality, cultural, and mixed-use developments. Their portfolio includes involvement in several landmark UK developments, premium commercial headquarters, award-winning mixed-use schemes, and prestigious hospitality projects, offering engineers the opportunity to work on projects that help shape the built environment.

As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you'll support the delivery of mechanical building services designs from concept through to completion. Working closely with senior engineers and project leads, you'll gain exposure to all project stages while taking increasing responsibility for design and client interaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mechanical building services design and calculations
  • Producing specifications, reports, and technical documentation
  • Coordinating with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams
  • Attending project and site meetings
  • Supporting project delivery across a varied and high-profile portfolio

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience within a building services consultancy environment
  • Good understanding of HVAC, public health, and sustainable design principles
  • Familiarity with industry software such as Hevacomp, IES, Revit, or similar
  • Ambition to progress professionally and work towards Chartership
