Eden Brown is delighted to be partnering with a leading global project and cost management consultancy as they continue to grow their Infrastructure team in Exeter.

Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, our client is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to support the delivery of major infrastructure programmes across the South West and wider UK. This is an excellent opportunity for commercially focused professionals who are looking to work on high-value, complex projects within highly regulated sectors, whilst benefiting from structured career progression and exposure to industry-leading clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quantity surveying and cost management services throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and manage cost plans, budgets, estimates and financial reporting.
  • Administer contracts and manage change control procedures.
  • Support procurement activities, tender evaluations and contract awards.
  • Monitor project costs, valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to clients and project teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
  • Support the successful delivery of projects in line with programme, cost and quality objectives.
Experience Required
  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager within major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge, including NEC forms of contract.
  • Experience in cost management, procurement, forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
Preferred Sector Experience
