They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Manager to join their team and play a key role in delivering exceptional projects on time and within budget. Role Overview: As a Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and contractual management of high-end interior fit-out projects. You will work closely with project managers, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution, from inception to completion, while maintaining strict cost control and maximising profitability. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Oversight: Lead the commercial and financial aspects of interior fit-out projects, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Cost Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditure, track variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure profitability. Contract Management: Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and manage any disputes or claims effectively. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle. Provide advice to the project team on risk strategies. Project Planning and Scheduling: Work closely with project managers to develop accurate project schedules. Ensure the effective management of cash flow, resource allocation, and procurement of materials. Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics, progress updates, and any commercial challenges. Proven experience managing fit-out projects for luxury hotels, high-end offices, and bespoke interior spaces. Qualifications: A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., MRICS) are desirable but not essential.
