I am working with a highly respected, sustainability-led building services consultancy to find a talented Lighting Design Engineer to join their specialist Light and Air team in London. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious cultural, educational, workplace and sports projects in the UK and internationally, contributing to beautifully considered architectural lighting and daylight design as part of an integrated engineering approach.
You will be part of a specialist team focused on the creative and technical integration of natural and artificial light within buildings. The work goes far beyond traditional lighting design - you will be encouraged to think holistically about how buildings perform, how they feel to occupy, and how they can use less energy while delivering exceptional design quality.

- Running lighting projects and supporting junior team members

- Creative and technically confident, with strong CAD and lighting analysis skills
- Comfortable illustrating, modelling and writing about design proposals
- Experienced (5+ years) in lighting design, ideally on complex or high-profile buildings with leading architects
- Confident in a client- and design team-facing role
- Qualified to degree level (2:2 or above, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
