The Opportunity
As a Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer, you'll take ownership of projects from concept through to completion while helping to shape the future direction of the team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical design delivery on a range of building services projects
- Develop innovative and practical engineering solutions from concept through to detailed design
- Manage project programmes, resources, and deliverables
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects, contractors, and design teams
- Mentor and support junior engineers, helping to develop technical capability within the team
- Undertake design reviews and provide technical guidance across projects
- Support business development activities and contribute to the growth of client relationships
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, sustainability, and building physics specialists to deliver integrated design solutions
What We're Looking For
- Experience in electrical building services design within a consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of power, lighting, small power, life safety systems, and relevant UK standards
- Proven experience delivering projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, education, healthcare, or mixed-use developments
- Ability to manage projects and maintain strong client relationships
- Experience mentoring or leading engineers
- Chartered status or working towards chartership would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
