We are excited to be working with a well-regarded architectural practice in central London, currently looking to expand their team. Due to a pipeline of large-scale, residential master planning projects, the firm is looking for a recently qualified architect to join their team, with a minimum of 2 years' experience post-Part II.
About the Role
You will join a collaborative team working on a variety of early-stage residential master planning projects (100+ homes), where your input will be integral to the conceptual and design development stages. The ideal candidates will have some experience working on large-scale, high-quality residential schemes, ideally within similar scaled Architect practices or developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the design process for large-scale residential projects, from initial concept through to planning stages.
- Producing high-quality drawings and visuals to effectively communicate ideas and concepts.
- Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring designs are cohesive and meet client expectations.
- Engaging with developers and planning authorities during the design and approval phases.
- Managing and prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met.
Essential Criteria:
- Part III ARB qualification in the last year or so.
- Proven experience working on large-scale residential masterplanning projects (minimum 100 homes).
- Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD, with a willingness to learn Revit where relevant.
- Right to work in the UK is a must - no sponsorship can be offered at this time.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your experience and skills in housing design and large-scale projects.
