A respected London-based architecture practice is seeking an Architectural Assistant (Part 2) to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale commercial and residential projects and advance your career in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Architect/Project Architect in the delivery of architectural services across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Manage your deadlines, coordinating with the team to ensure smooth and efficient project progression.
- Create and edit high-quality Revit models, along with some AutoCAD drawings, including layouts, sections, elevations, and construction details.
- Assist in the production of reports, specifications, and tender documents.
- Contribute to work shared projects, managing complex Revit models and coordinating with other consultants in a 3D environment.
- Stay updated on design, construction, sustainability, and regulatory changes relevant to your projects.
- Occasionally visit construction sites to support project delivery and ensure quality standards are met.
Essential Skills & Experience
- RIBA Part 2 qualification with at least 2 years of UK experience working on large-scale residential and/or mixed use projects.
- Proficiency in Revit is essential - candidates will be required to demonstrate their Revit proficiency during the interview process.
- Strong experience with AutoCAD and a working knowledge of other software such as InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp is a bonus.
- Solid understanding of UK building construction fundamentals, statutory requirements, and planning regulations.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage workloads effectively while working in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently within a team.
