Income Collection and Recovery Compliance Assistant required for busy Social Housing provider in Coventry. Starts ASAP for 12 weeks with possible extension.
To provide a high-quality income compliance and collection service on all areas related to income collection and recovery. Responsibilities include:
- Providing an effective debt collection service relating to former tenancy arrears and other debts.
- Administering processes relating to former tenancy credit balances.
- Completing court and other related paperwork connected to the enforcement of debts.
- Maintaining high-quality records in relation to detailed case histories, ensuring that records are maintained to allow automated and other IT processes to function effectively.
- Creating standard performance and task-related reports as directed for all income-related functions, inclusive of effective minute taking when required.
- Working with external collection agencies and other bodies to maximise income recovery.
Essential Experience:
- Excellent numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
- Ability to write effective business communications, including bespoke letters to customers.
- Ability to prioritise own workload and adapt to changing demands.
- Previous experience of office administration.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to travel to meet the requirements of the role.
Rates per hour: £13.58 PAYE per hour, £18.67 Umbrella.
Office location: Coventry - onsite for first few weeks, hybrid after, 2/3 days in the office. 36.25 hour working week - likely to be 9-5. Start date - ASAP - ideally end of January. It will be doing the transactional side to help the team in a really busy period. Strong PC skills and good attention to detail.
