Join our dedicated Locality Safeguarding team in Worcestershire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable children and families.
In this position, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing care plans, and working collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for those you serve.

Key Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in line with statutory requirements.
- Working closely with other professionals, including health, education, and law enforcement, to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Have a recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England.
- Possess substantial experience in child protection and safeguarding practices, along with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure.
