Team Manager required for work within the Court Team in the Torbay area. Exceptional rates up to £45ph plus £150 pw accommodation and long term contracts offered in a beautiful seaside town. 37 hours per week. Good transport links from M5. Flexible hybrid working.
The role involves navigating complex legal proceedings, managing high-risk cases, and providing operational leadership to ensure compliance with statutory duties and the best outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities- Case Management & Court Representation: Oversee care proceedings, ensuring high-quality court reports, statements, and care plans are produced. Represent the Local Authority at court hearings and legal planning meetings.
- Leadership & Supervision: Supervise a multidisciplinary team. This includes supporting staff through high-pressure scenarios, monitoring caseloads, and providing reflective practice sessions.
- Risk Management & Decision Making: Identify, assess, and manage risk, making critical decisions regarding child safety that may involve conflicting views and sensitive information.
You will be a qualified social worker, SWE registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK.
