As the Team Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Children In Care Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of qualified social workers, providing guidance and support in case management.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices in child protection and welfare.
- Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Monitoring and reviewing the performance of the team, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Facilitating training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., CQSW, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Significant experience in children's social work, particularly in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures affecting children in care.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families and external agencies.
